Answer #15 / Fifth Annual Sunnyside History Holiday Quiz

Located on the side of the walkway from the lower to the upper parts of Sunnyside Playground, this aging piece of art history can easily escape notice. It was created by artist Jim Miller-Melberg in 1970 for the first Sunnyside Playground area. His work has been recognized for its unique fusion of playfulness with striking forms. It was retained after the 2000 rebuilding of the playground.
