These Streamline Moderne-style stripes can be seen on the Edna Street side of 499 Monterey Blvd — once Monterey Deli, serving a popular sandwich called Aubrey, lots of Budweiser beer, and Ritter chocolate bars that appeared to have been imported in a suitcase, it is now home to an upscale liquor store.
