Lived on Baden St 12 years (’51 to ’63) and never knew the Sunnyside Conservatory even existed, until coming across it on these history posts recently.

During the 50’s & 60’s it was a mess. Glass broken, building in major disrepair. As kids we were afraid to go near it; had to be haunted, or at least occupied by some creepy people. A marvelous job of restoration.
